Hi! I'm the face behind Aligned Creative Studios. Welcome to my corner of the internet! My name is Emily.
Since I've had memory, I've always loved creating, it's my way of feeling free.
If I didn't have something I wanted, I would find a way of making it with my hands; not only that made me feel excited but it also made me feel confident in my ability to make things exist if they didn't. That mindset is what has led to the creation of my creative studio.
When I was an architecture student, back in 2016-19, I realized my passion for design was in solving a need in a functional and appealing way, I loved that challenge. So during that time I decided to change careers to a fully creative one. My personal style is influenced a lot by that period of my life and my love for animated movies and cute books, I'd describe it as a mix between natural and raw aesthetics with a colorful touch. But I do love experimenting with a lot of different styles.
I studied illustration, then pursued graphic design, became very interested in editorial and then UI. Came to realize I didn't want to limit my creativity into a single niche. I enjoy and I'm good at many creative movements. That's why I love working with brands, that way I can put them all into practice; analyzing and solving a creative problem, design and draw.
Aligned Creative Studios was born as a side personal project for illustrations inspired by sketches and has evolved into an independent design studio specialized in Brand Design, Illustration and Web design for visionaries around the world. With a focus on strategic creativity, we craft compelling brand identities and digital experiences that resonate with the right audience.
Branding is the feeling you leave in the minds of people when they get to experience your business. That's why a strategy is so important, so the purpose can be accomplished, and it's one of my favorite parts to be honest, because I get to analyze and create a new identity for that business (obsessed with that!).
